Welcome to the summer term in Little Acorns! We hope you all had a good Easter break and were able to enjoy the good weather.
It has been wonderful to see all the children this week and we are very much looking forward to sharing a busy but exciting term with them.
Welcome!
A very warm welcome to James, Ayda, Jack, Asees and Sofia who joined us this week. We are so happy to have you with us.

Our quote of the week
This week comes from Zara and Asees. Zara informed us ‘My Daddy always goes to the dentist and cleans his teeth.’
When we were ‘baking’ with the kinetic sand Asees told me ‘My favourite food is rice and chocolate sauce!’
Our first few days
The highlight of this first few days has been getting to use the newly extended outdoor area! We will be adding more resources to it in due course but, as only children can, they have made lots of their own fun, rolling cars, stacking crates, building towers, and of course getting stuck into the sand and water trays.
We also been to PE, the library, had music with Mrs Sage and started learning a new song in French!

Reminders
*Please could all children have a named water bottle in school for snack and lunchtimes.
*If your Little Acorn comes to school on a Monday, please ensure they have suitable clothing for Outdoor Learning, including sunhats. We get out whatever the weather!
*Please could we have a spare change of clothes to leave on your child’s peg, they are all enjoying the water play!
