The end of term has been filled with sunshine and easter crafts a plenty. The children have enjoyed getting out on the bikes and trikes in the playground and we loved joining Reception for Outdoor Learning at the park in Sevenoaks on Monday. It is so lovely when we begin to come out of ‘coat season’ and the children can enjoy the freedom of going in and out with more freedom. There is much excitement about the Mother’s Day assembly on Wednesday and the children have been practicing with enthusiasm!! We wish you all a wonderful holiday and hope the sun continues to shine!
Book of the week
This week we have been reading lots of Easter stories, we even had some of the senior boys joining us for a reading cinema on Tuesday morning. The children are now well versed in Easter egg hunts, chocolate eggs and the Easter bunny! It has been lovely to hear them sharing and retelling the stories amongst themselves during reading time.

Our quote of the week
This week from Edward when we were going out for playtime. ‘I’m going to see Matilda (Edward’s sister) and Matilda is my best friend!’. That is lovely to hear Edward.
Easter crafting fun!
As we approach the end of term, Little Acorns has been brimming with excitement as we dive into some festive Easter crafting! The children have been busy creating colourful decorations, from bunny ears to egg designs, each one bursting with creativity and joy. It has been a wonderful way for them to express their imagination while celebrating the season. We're so proud of their efforts and can’t wait to see their faces light up when they share their creations with you.
