Solefield's football season has been a memorable one. Each and every team battled bravely, improved as the season went on and won matches along the way too. A special thanks to all staff, especially Mr. Parker, who oversaw the football programme.
Senior Football:
Our seniors have had an excellent season with Mr Raymond and Mr Henry.
1st Team: Won 5 of their 8 games, and performed exceptionally well at the New Beacon Tournament too.
2nd Team: Crowning moments of the season were a superb win against St. Ronan’s and a strong, battling performance against Hilden Grange.
Colts Football:
Colts A: Started the season with victory in the Sevenoaks School Futsal Tournament and won 5 of 7 fixtures under Mr. Nagy.
Colts B: Impressive wins over Bickley Park and St. Michael’s, with optimism for the future, especially with many Year 5 players taking on a lot of positivity for this squad to take into next season.
Colts C: Won the plate at their only tournament of the season, under Mr. Maynard's guidance.
Colts D & E: Both teams showed steady progress under the watchful eyes of Mr Jankowski & Mr Stratton, earning well-deserved wins, including victories against St. Ronan’s.
Colts F & G: Epitomised great pride in representing Solefield, with a win over St. Michael’s and a draw with Hilden Grange.
Junior Football:
U9 A: Achieved 5 wins from 8 games, with noticeable improvement under Mr. Raymond.
U9 B: Showed a lot of heart in a hard-fought season with Mr Bowden, particularly in matches against Russell House and Hazelwood.
U8: Had a strong first full season, focusing on individual skills and improving throughout.
U7: Their first competitive season included great performances at the Solefield U7 Community Tournament.
The season closed with thanks to the students, staff, and parents for their unwavering support and encouragement.
