A very warm welcome back to the Summer term and particularly to the families of our new starters. It has been wonderful to see the children back in the classroom and getting to know each other. We have made the most of the sunny spells and enjoyed playing in the Little Acorns garden and having PE lessons on the playground. The children had a wonderful swimming lesson on Friday and we are looking forward to Outdoor Learning on Monday. Wishing you all a super, and restful weekend.

Book of the week
This week we have been reading ‘First Day at Bug School’ to help everyone back into the swing of things. It has been very sweet to hear the children saying ‘That’s what we did this morning!’ or ‘That’s what we are doing now!’. Though I promise not to feed them aphid stew at lunchtime!
