Last week, Year 7 enjoyed an exciting Activities Day at King's School, Rochester. When we arrived, we were greeted by ex Solefield pupil, Harry Goodwin, who was to be one of our guides for the day.
The first activity was in the Science Lab where the boys took part in a Forensics Workshop, which involved taking part in several experiments to solve a series of puzzles. Next, a fun Samba Music Workshop, then onto the climbing wall which was a big physical challenge for all involved. After a delicious lunch and a quick game of football, the day was rounded off perfectly with a hands on activity in the DT Department. All the boys were delighted to come away with a beautiful and useful keyring that they made during the session.
It was also great to have a quick chat with Barney and Elliott (Solefield Alumni, 2023) who are enjoying life at their new school.
