Some of you may remember that the pupils at Solefield voted to name our most recent house after the Olympian Kelly Holmes. She sent us a very kind message launching Holmes House (see second video below) and we have recently been in touch with her about the work that we will be focusing on in the future on sustainability and looking after our world. In future years, a trophy will be awarded that is called the Holmes Better World Cup to the person who has worked hardest to protect our planet. Our Eco Team have had lots of ideas like planting vegetables, composting waste and we look forward to seeing how this develops at school.
