This week we put together four entries for the Muddy Stilettos 'Best Schools Awards' entering the following four categories:
* Originality in Music & Arts - for our music, drama and arts provision
* Outstanding Pastoral Care – including being the first boys' independent school in the UK to achieve the prestigious Wellbeing Award for Schools
* Empowering Young Entrepreneurs – showcasing our Young Entrepreneurs Holiday Camp we ran over the summer
* Best School Spirit – Solefield's 75th anniversary year, including launching our alumni association, our STEM workshops to build our impressive Spitfire, the vintage ice-cream van treat for the boys, forming '75' on our school playground, our wonderful SPA and just the collegial experiences we do to create a strong sense of 'Solefield Spirit'.
It was brilliant to see all the wonderful things we were able to showcase in entering these awards. We will keep you posted with how we get on. Finalists will be announced in the summer term...wish us luck!
