A mix of boys from Year 6, 7 and 8 took part in the Kent Schools Table Tennis Tournament at The Howard School in Rainham. Solefield were represented by three teams out of 16 playing group matches, then onto the Cup and Consolation finals. All three of our teams ended up in the Consolation Cup against five other schools. After many single set games, Solefield A team would play Solefield C team in the final, only for it to be a 4-4 draw with the A team coming out on top to win Gold on a points scored count back. A fantastic result, representing the first county Table Tennis Tournament that we have sent teams to.
