The Friday before term started, saw the 2022 Solefield Golf Day take place at Knole Park Golf Club. It was great to see so many parents playing and even more coming to join us for the evening's food and prizes.
Congratulations to our joint winners of the individual competition, Paul Whitworth and Mike Nikolich who won this hotly contested event with 39 points.
It was wonderful to also see some of our Solefield Old Boys, one of whom decided to 'sponsor a hole' in memory of his late teacher, Mr Jim Kitching. Mr Kitching taught Maths and Science at Solefield between 1971 - 1998 and was remembered as having a favourite saying, 'It's even Stevens' - a touching tribute.
A great day was had by all and we are already looking forward to our big event next year for the school's 75th anniversary.
