On the hottest day of the year, we enjoyed our Jubilee street party on our beautiful playground. Year 7 began by sharing with us interesting facts about Her Majesty the Queen. Boys then sang their hearts out during the national anthem, 'God save the Queen' to officially begin the proceedings (with Her Majesty keenly watching). Our playground was transformed into a sea of bunting and smiling faces.
The sun shone, music played, food was shared and the afternoon was finished off beautifully to 'Sweet Caroline' being sung with incredible enthusiasm by the boys.
The pupils gave three cheers to our catering team for all their hard work and delicious food. Everyone had a smashing good time!
