Reception had a fabulous time at Coolings Garden Centre. They were welcomed by Ian who took them on a tour of the nursery area. He showed them lots of different machines that help move plants from plug trays into larger pots and even how the plants are sorted and labelled. The boys enjoyed seeing the reservoir area and talking to Ian about what they are learning at school. They learnt about their irrigation systems and saw how plants are moved around using fork lift trucks. After the tour the boys enjoyed a picnic lunch in the cafe garden and then helped to choose lots of plants for school planters and the outside area.
A super trip and they were all praised by the general public for how beautifully they behaved.
