Year 6 had a really fun and informative afternoon at the SALUS event Safety in Action.
The boys worked as teams, taking part in a variety of informative exercises with professionals all about the dangers they may face in the outside world. They learnt about fire safety from a member of the fire brigade, train track safety from a police officer and peer pressure from a youth worker. They were even tested to see if they would take something from a stranger, let’s just say that one of our teams were successful in ignoring the stranger.
The boys had a really lovely time and learnt lots of important information that they will be able to take with them when they go to their future schools and face these dangers every day.
