This week we put together four entries for Muddy Stilettos 'Best Schools Awards' for our activity undertaken in 2020/21 and 2021/22 academic years. We entered the following four categories:
* Most Inventive Sports Programme - including our extensive lockdown sports’ programme and in-house premier sports league
* Outstanding Pastoral Care – including being the first boys' independent school in the UK to achieve the prestigious Wellbeing Award for Schools
* Best Experiential Learning – our Pre-Prep weekly outdoor learning adventures
* Best Sense of Humour – Solefield's 12 days of Christmas, with Mr Cramp's pie in the face from Mrs Easton, Mr Coston eating all the Christmas mince pies and a snow day where pupils were given a day off live virtual lessons during lockdown...this is just some of the sense of fun we put into school for our pupils and parents.
It was brilliant to see all the wonderful things we were able to showcase in entering these awards. We will keep you posted with how we get on. Finalists will be announced near the beginning of the summer term...wish us luck!
