For National Storytelling Week, this year we are focusing on news stories. In the assembly on Monday, we explored the question: 'If they are based on facts, why are they called stories?'
Boys from Years 3-8 engaged in writing newspaper articles in their English lessons, and many put their newfound skills to work by playing the role of a news anchor. To make the Storytelling Week even more fun, we have launched a competition for the boys. (Boys in all year groups are welcome to enter.) Watch this space to see if they can all put their news storytelling skills to good use.
