The Year 3 boys performed a gorgeous recital last Friday night. They each had their chance to shine individually, whether it was playing their musical instrument or performing a poem. They also performed three group pieces which included the poem, ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas’, a melodica piece ‘Jump Start’ and their finale song ‘Jacob & Sons’ from ‘Joseph and the Technicolour Dreamcoat. I felt so proud of these boys and it was truly magical to see how much they have grown in confidence. The audience thought so too and demanded an encore! My thanks to Mr Fenning for his organisation of the music and our wonderful peripatetic music teachers who have prepared the boys so well.
