The School and Eco Council met this week to discuss a variety of issues, including ideas for new clubs such as cookery and swimming, higher fences in the playground to help stop the balls flying too high, moving to hybrid or electric minibuses and growing our own vegetables to be served at lunchtime. Mrs McClure joined the meeting and Benedict, in Year 5, shared a letter he had written suggesting ways that we can make the Christmas Fayre more sustainable. The Eco Council will be holding their own COP26 meeting to look at ways that our school community can help with current climate change issues. Watch this space!
