After the roaring success of our summer Holiday Camps, we return for more exciting action in the second week of October half term. We have 5 camps on offer for Solefield families and friends, and will cater for every year group in the school with our various camps. Bookings for the camps can be made here.
The Fun Zone
Our main multi-activity camp – ‘The Fun Zone,’ led by Mr Cramp, will run all week from the 25th-29th October. This camp runs from 9am-4pm and encourages our participants to enjoy a wide range of sporting and leisure activities each day. This camp is open for boys and girls currently in year 1-year 6 (Full day - £40), Half day - £20.
Little Acorn
The ‘Little Acorn’ Camp is an EYFS specialist camp, open to boys and girls currently in Reception and Year 1. The camp is run by our excellent EYFS team, led by Miss Showell and allows the children to continue to grow in the Solefield setting and enjoy many different activities and play scenarios. The Little Acorn camp is open from 9am-12pm, and will operate from Wednesday 27-Friday 29th October (£20 per session).
Football Camp
Our evening ‘Football’ camps led by Mr Parker are also returning this October. Once again we will run different sessions for different age groups at either 4pm-5:30pm for the younger boys or 5:30pm-7pm for the senior boys. These camps will run each evening of the week and will take place on the playground under the lights (£20 per session).
We also have two new camp offerings for October:
Drama Camp
Mrs Robinson will be running our first ever ‘Drama’ camp. This will take place every morning of the week from 9am-12pm. The boys and girls currently in Years 3-8 will be learning and practising their drama skills through group performance and games. (£20 per session).
Computing Camp
Our final Camp this half term is a ‘Computing’ camp courtesy of Mr Fenning. Here, boys and girls in years 3-8 will enjoy a wide range of computing activities from coding to Minecraft Education and learn a huge range of IT skills. This will take place every morning from 9am-12pm. There is a cap on this Camp to 20 children per day (£20 per session).
With the Little Acorn, Drama and Computing camps being run in the mornings, boys and girls in Years 1-6 are more than welcome to join the Fun Zone camp for the afternoon and pay for the half day. Wraparound Care is once again offered from 7:30am-9am (£15) and from 4pm-6pm (£20), with prior booking only. Please email Mr Cramp if you plan on using this service.
Invoices will be sent out during the final day of the camps, on Friday 29th October 2021.
