Race for Life, to raise money for Cancer Research, was a triumph. When we planned it back in the Easter holidays, we had visions of us skipping laughingly around the fields in the sunshine, overheating, maybe waving from the sidelines from the shelter of a parasol...at no point did we think we would be in winds of 40 miles an hour and driving rain! Still, it was an amazing day and the boys and staff all did us proud. The total raised now stands at £4880, including t-shirts and Gift Aid. It is a cause is so close to our hearts, so thank you for your generosity and to SPA for buying a t shirt for all the boys - all monies from which also go to the charity.
